THIS YEAR:  One of 16 linebackers on the Cougar roster, senior David Price figures to be a key contributor on special teams and offer depth on defense.

2017 (junior):  Returned to football after a two-year layoff and played in one game in his first year at Azusa Pacific, coming off the bench in the regular-season finale vs. Colorado Mesa.

ARIZONA:  Spent two years at the University of Arizona, where he redshirt the 2013 season and appeared in five games as a 2014 freshman, all on special teams … Recorded a pair of tackles.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played three seasons of varsity football at prep power Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, playing for head coach Paul Laura … As a 2012 named All-Moore League and All-CIF first team … Logged 77 tackles, two interceptions, one TD and two forced fumbles as a senior … Squad won CIF and regional championships … Also competed in track and field … An honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Born June 25, 1995, in Long Beach to David and Denice Price … Majoring in sociology.
