2003: Came off the bench in all 10 games of his 2003 junior season, collecting 17 tackles, including 2 for loss … Had a season-best 4 tackles against Rocky Mountain and Chapman … Played both nose guard and end.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of varsity football as a defensive end and linebacker at Tigard (Ore.) High, located just south of Portland ... Earned all-state first team and All-Pacific-8 Conference honors as a 1999 senior when the Tigers went 11-2 and advanced to the state 4A quarterfinals ... Led the team in tackles for loss and was second in sacks … Also played 2 seasons of varsity baseball (first base).
