THIS YEAR: A mammoth bookend on the Cougar offensive line, senior David Ah-Sue is a key figure in the Cougars' running and passing game … Has the benefit of a full season in the system and should show signs of tremendous improvement … Known for his quickness and quality technique … Teams with Dave Wilford to give Azusa Pacific 2 of the finest tackles in the NAIA.Â
2002: Was a late transfer to Azusa Pacific, arriving from Nevada nearly 3 weeks into 3-a-days … Did not suit up season-opener vs. San Diego but then became an every-game reserve the rest of the season, backing up All-American T.J. Woods and Wilford at the tackles.Â
NEVADA: Signed with Western Athletic Conference member University of Nevada out of junior college … Redshirted the 2001 season before leaving the Wolf Pack program in the summer of 2002.Â
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played 2 seasons for coach Larry Reisbig at state powerhouse Long Beach City College, earned All-Mission Conference second team honors as a 2000 sophomore.Â
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 seasons of varsity football at Samoana High in Pago Pago, America Samoa … Earned All-Samoan League first team honors at defensive end while leading the Sharks to a 7-1 record as a 1996 senior.Â
