THIS YEAR: Sophomore quarterback Brandon Valencia begins his first season at Azusa Pacific after spending the 2025 season at the junior college level … A 5-foot-11, 210-pound quarterback, Valencia joins the Cougars after a successful prep career at John Muir High School in Pasadena, Calif. … Known for his late-season play and leadership.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played quarterback during the 2025 season under Head Coach Arnie Robles at East Los Angeles College … Appeared in 6 of the Huskies 10 games, completed 30-of 53 passes (.566) for 254 yards with 1 TD and 4 interceptions … Best effort came in a loss to Cerritos in which he started and completed 21-of-33 passes for 210 yards and a 1 TD, a 9-yard strike to cap a 54-yard drive and account for the Huskies’ only score of the game … Sat out the 2024 season.
