THIS YEAR: Sophomore Brady Ackerman returns to his Southern California roots to join the Azusa Pacific football program after spending the 2025 season at NAIA-member Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. … Brings a physicality that will allow to press for starting duties at the edge … Figures to see plenty of time on the field.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN: Redshirted the 2025 season at Rocky Mountain, his first and only season with the Battlin’ Bears.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Sonora High School in La Habra, Calif., in 2025 ... Played under head coach Kevin Oberlander ... Lined up at tight end, linebacker, running back and defensive line ... Served a season as  team captain ...Played basketball as a freshman and junior... finished his varsity football career with 120 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 2 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries and 1 forced fumble ... Totaled 1,031 all-purpose yards and 9 touchdowns ...
