Biography

2019 (junior): Named an All-GNAC Second Team Defense Honoree for his excellence in the secondary… Sukut tallied 63 tackles (27 solo/36 ast) with 3.5 for loss, a sack, and three interceptions in 10 starts at linebacker… His 63 tackles were the sixth most in the GNAC and his 3 interceptions tied him with teammate Josh Olave for fourth in the conference and first on the team . Sukut had five or more tackles in all but one game he appeared in this season.

2018 (sophomore):  Played in all 12 games, starting three… season-high 13 tackles in overtime win at Humboldt State Nov. 3… eight tackles and a sack at Simon Fraser Oct. 13

2017 (freshman):  In his collegiate debut season, came off the bench in all 11 games and recorded 19 tackles … Twice had a season-high four tackles, vs. Western Oregon and Simon Fraser.

2016:  Redshirted the 2016 season at NCAA FCS Arkansas State.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Was a four-year varsity letterman at Capistrano Valley Christian High where helped lead the Eagles to the CIF playoffs as a freshman, sophomore and junior . . . Played on both sides of the football . . . Team captain . . . 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl nominee . . . Los Angeles Times’ 2016 “Defensive Back to Watch” . . . Despite appearing in just six games as a 2015 senior, still named All-CIF after recording 62 tackles and a pair of interceptions . . . Led the team with 34 receptions for 625 yards (18.4 avg.) and a team-high 10 TD catches … As a 2014 junior, tallied 52 receptions for 791 yards and 12 touchdowns while also posting 338 rushing yards and five additional scores via the ground game . . . Named all-state second team as a defensive selection after ranking second on the team in tackles with 78 with three interceptions (one for a touchdown) and two forced fumbles . . . As a 2012 freshman caught 89 passes for 1,252 yards and also posted six interceptions for 316 return yards . . . Rated a three-star recruit by ESPN.com, 247Sports.com and Scout.com . . . was the No. 150 player ranked in the state of California by ESPN.com . . . Listed as the No. 92 and No. 99 safety in the nation by 247Sports.com and Scout.com, respectively . . . Also recruited by BYU, Nevada, San Diego State, Utah State, Cal and Wyoming.
