THIS YEAR: A Cougar football rarity in that he is moving into his fourth season in fulltime punting duties, senior B.J. Litchfield already owns Azusa Pacific records for most punts (174) and punting yards (6,086) in a career ... Has had just 2 punts blocked in his career … Could be among the NAIA leaders in punting this season.

2000: Averaged nearly 5 punts a game, putting together a career-best 35.9 avg. for the campaign … Had a career-best 63-yarder vs. La Verne … Had 2 other punts over 50 yards … Also tallied 4 tackles on the season, including 2 at Southern Oregon when he punted a career-high 10 times.

1999: Had at least 1 punt in all 12 games during his 1999 sophomore campaign, averaging 35.7 yards over the course of 44 punts … Booted the ball a season-high 8 times vs. Olivet Nazarene, launching a season-best 56-yarder in the process.

1998: As a 1998 freshman, was the Cougars' only punter, appearing in all 14 games ... Averaged 34.0 yards on a school-record 81 punts ... Longest boot was a 52-yarder vs. Chapman ... Best game came against Taylor in the first round of the NAIA playoffs, averaging 39.8 yards for 5 punts which included a 51-yarder ... BASEBALL: Also lettered on the Cougar baseball team and has established himself as the premier closer in Cougar baseball history ...
