Biography

2019 (junior): Started his first game as a cougar with a 38-12 road win versus Simon Fraser while completing 14 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown as well as 128 yards rushing… Appeared in 8 games, starting under center for 3 games… Ranked second on the team and 8th in the GNAC in rushing yards (267)… Posted a team best 49 yard run against Simon Fraser… Finished the season with 644 passing yards and 4 touchdowns, adding 211 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground.

2018 (sophomore):  appeared off the bench in two games, both against Simon Fraser... had two carries for 18 yards

SOUTHERN UTAH:  Spent two seasons with Southern Utah University in the Big Sky conference

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played four seasons for coach Matt Logan at Corona Centennial... played in three California Open Division state championship games... in his career threw for 4,959 yards and 55 touchdowns while also rushing for 1,592 yards and 18 scores... senior season was second-team All-State, CIF Division 1 Co-MVP

PERSONAL:  Parents are Derek and Dana Catalano... has a brother (Dominick) and sister (Giuliana)... mother Dana is herself an Azusa Pacific alumna... is a psychology major
