HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity football for three years at Santiago High in Corona, Calif., as a defensive end and linebacker under head coach Jeff Steinberg ... In his 2014 senior season, registered 88 total tackles in 11 games, including 41 solo ... Also had 24 tackles for loss, an interception, and two fumble recoveries... Named All-Big 8 conference first team… Captained the squad as a senior... As a 2013 junior played in nine games and ranked ninth on the team with 34 tackles … Named All-Big 8 first team ... Got first varsity playing time as a sophomore, and helped the Sharks to a 4-1 record in the Big 8 Conference.
