Biography

THIS YEAR:  A potentially key reserve who could press for starting duties at first base, redshirt sophomore Will Allen has a powerful left-handed bat that will provide him opportunities to get into the Cougar line-up.

2024:  In his first year at Azusa Pacific, appeared in 12 games, starting 2 (vs. Cal State LA and Concordia) ... Had 2 hits on the season, including a pinch-hit 2-run home run vs. Point Loma.

CAL STATE SAN MARCOS:  Redshirtted the 2023 season at NCAA Division II Cal State San Marcos. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 3 seasons of varsity baseball for Head Coach Matt Shuper at prep power Maranatha High in Pasadena, Calif. ... The Minutemen posted a 45-14 record over Allen's final 2 seasons, which included a pair of Olympic League championships ... Maranatha advanced to the semifinals of the CIF Southern Section Division II playoffs during Allen's 2022 senior season ... Played 5 years of travel ball with the San Gabriel Valley Arsenal, playing for coach Michael Viera.
