THIS YEAR: Sophomore Sydney Juarez continues to develop her game, showcasing strong defensive abilities and leadership … As her presence grows both on the field and in the dugout, she aims to make an even bigger impact this season.

2024: Appeared in 4 games during her freshman season … Contributed a season high of 2 putouts in a game against Cal State San Marcos. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 2 years of varsity softball for the Salina (Calif.) High for head coaches, Gina Martorella and Ron Guzman … Helping the Cowboys to a 2nd place CCS DIII finish, third place Gabilan Conference finish … Led the team in hits with 33 and batting average at .423 … During her senior year, led as team captain to a second place finish in the CCS DII Regional along with earning PCAL All-League Honors. 

PERSONAL: Born on February 17, 2005, in Monterey, Calif. to Rene and Cathy Juarez … Majoring in Kinesiology with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Physical Therapist … Played club softball for 5 years at California Storm for head coach, Janice Bramers.
