2019 (junior): Appeared in 18 games all as a relief pitcher… Had a 4.64 ERA with an overall record of 0-1… Struck out 19 batters in 21.1 innings giving up 11 runs… walked 12 and opponents had a .241 batting average against him… Over a six-game stretch he threw eight straight scoreless innings while only giving up five hits and striking out seven.... This included a 3.1 inning outing with three strikeouts in a 2-0 loss to Holy Names (February 23)... Was named to Academic All-PacWest.

2018 (sophomore): As a sophomore, appeared in 10 games all as a relief pitcher… Lead the team and was the only pitcher below one in WHIP with 0.92… Had an overall record of 1-0 and posted a 2.61 ERA in 20 and 2/3 innings… Gave up only six earned runs, struck out 16 batters while walking five, opponents batted .169 against him… In a 7-4 NCAA Regional loss to California Baptist (May 17), Valasakos pitched 5 and 2/3 no-hit innings with one strikeout… In a 18-2 win over Biola (April 27), Valasakos got the win after pitching 4 and 2/3 no-hit innings out of the bullpen with three strikeouts.

2017 (freshman): Did not appear in any games but did practice with the team all year.

2016 (redshirt): Redshirt season. Did not appear in any games but did practice with the team all year.

High School: Was a pitcher for three years on varsity at Liberty High School in Peoria, Ariz. under head coach John Frietas... As a senior, helped the team finish runner-up in state... Recorded a 1.86 ERA in 42 innings pitched with an 8-3 record.

Personal: Born on Sept. 19, 1996 to Alex and Leslie Valasakos in La Verne, Calif. ... Has two younger sisters, Demi and Nerin... Is majoring in business finance.
