THIS YEAR: Sophomore midfielder Osmin Carranza returns for his second season with the Azusa Pacific men’s soccer program in 2026 ... Coming off a fine rookie campaign which should translate into an expanded role this year … Could prove to be among the Cougars top offensive threats.

2025 (freshman): Appeared in 16 matches for the Cougars’ 17 matches ... Tallied 3 goals and 3 assists ... Scored his first collegiate goal against Regis on Sept. 6 ... Added assists against Cal State San Marcos, Westmont and Point Loma ... Scored twice in a season-ending 6-1 victory vs. Jessup on Nov. 8 ... Logged significant minutes throughout conference play, including a season-high 90 minutes at Point Loma.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Victor Valley High School in Victorville, Calif., in 2024. ... Played varsity soccer for Head Coach Julio Hernandez, competing in the midfield and serving as a team captain for 1 season ... As a 2024 senior, scored 10 goals and added 5 assists while earning Desert Sky League MVP, all-league first team and team MVP honors ... As a 2023 junior, earned All-Desert Sky League first team recognition while helping Victor Valley finish 18-7 and advance to both the CIF Southern Section Division 6 final (1-0 loss to San Gorgonio) and CIF Southern California Regional final ... Also played club soccer for FC Golden State under Head Coach Jose Botello.
