Azusa Pacific University Athletics

FOLSOM LAKE COLLEGE: Played two seasons of baseball… they were the first junior college in California to make it to playoffs as a first year program… his last season at Folsom Lake College his batting average was .389, he hit four homeruns and had 26 RBI’s. The team made it to the playoffs, losing to the State champion team in a close series... He was named to the all Nor-Cal team… earned team offensive most valuable player, All-Conference, and All-Region… he was the conference player of the year runner up and all state runner up.

 HIGH SCHOOL: Played three seasons of varsity baseball … serving as team captain once… hitting .408 his junior year… earning runner up player of the year twice… offensive team most valuable player twice, All-conference twice, and all metro twice.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 27, 1995 to Chad and Carina Schumacher… His father played baseball at CSU Stanislaus and his mother played volleyball and softball at CSU Stanislaus… He has one brother Braeden and one sister Lexi… Majoring in biology… would like to pursue pre-med/doctor... He enjoys playing guitar and the outdoors (fishing).
