THIS YEAR: Senior Mylah Niksa enters her second season at Azusa Pacific after gaining valuable experience in the Cougar front-row rotation last season … Expected to build on her first year at APU and continue providing size, depth and blocking presence.

2025 (junior): Appeared in 22 matches as a 2025 junior, playing in 62 sets … Finished with 41 kills, 40 total blocks, 19 digs, 1 service ace and 1 assist … Recorded a career-high 7 kills twice, first against Cal State Monterey Bay and again in a Cougar win over Menlo … Added a career-best 5 total blocks against Biola.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent 2 years at Santa Monica College … Played in 26 matches for the Corsairs, starting 25 … Recorded 118 kills and 166 points … Averaged 1.27 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .253 … Recorded a season-high 10 kills in a 3-2 win against Golden West.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Porterville (Calif.) High … Played 2 years of volleyball … Received All-East Yosemite League honorable
in 2021 and 2022 … Recorded 146 kills over 83 sets with a hitting percentage of .233 … Had 45 total block points in her high school career … Played club volleyball for the California Volleyball Academy under Coach Stephany Perez.
