2022: Earned Academic All-PacWest distinction...Saw action in three games in his final season as a Cougar… Over 3.2 innings of work, he struck out seven… Over 1.2 innings pitched against Fresno Pacific, he did not allow a run and struck out two. 

2021 (Junior): Did not appear in any games.

2020 (COVID-shortened season): Appeared in one game out of the bullpen for the Cougars… Tossed one inning versus Cal St. Monterey Bay (February 8), striking out a pair.

Long Beach City College (2017-19): Played two seasons for head coach Casey Crook… Appeared 22 times, starting 13 games on the bump in his career for the Vikings… Johnson enjoyed his best season in 2018-19 starting nine games, recording a 4-1 overall record over 45.2 innings… His 4.14 ERA was third-best among Vikings starting pitchers while his 7.09 strikeouts per nine innings was second among starters.

High School: Graduated from Palos Verdes High School in Ranchos Palos Verdes, Calif… Played one varsity season under coach Derrek Duarte… Was 7-1 in his senior campaign with a 1.17 ERA across eight appearances and 42 innings pitched.

Personal: Born on June 22nd, 1999 in Long Beach, Calif... Son of Denise and Tim... Has two brothers Bradley and Danny... His father Tim played collegiate water polo at Long Beach State... Majoring in Communications... Hopes to become a firefighter... Enjoys surfing, fishing, and going to Catalina Island.
