Kurkdjian was a standout performer at local prep power Maranatha High School under Head Coach Matt Shupper. A defensive specialist with a high-IQ approach to the game, he was a key contributor to the Minutemen's dominant run in the Olympic League.

• Prep Success: Helped lead Maranatha to three consecutive league championships.

• Defensive Reliability: In his senior campaign, he posted a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage.

• Clutch Performer: Known for his big-game ability, he delivered a walk-off double to secure a thrilling 3-2 victory over Village Christian.

• Summer Ball/Club: Competed for the Matadors 2025 and earned a Bronze medal at the USA Junior Olympics. He maintained a disciplined approach at the plate with a .333 on-base percentage during his senior year.

Personal: Born May 28, 2006... Son of Rafi and Lisa Kurkdjian... Majoring in Finance... Chose Azusa Pacific for its strong combination of academic excellence and competitive baseball program... In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, basketball, and working out.
