2014-15 (junior): Played in 31 games as a reserve guard, registering 4.0 points per game and 1.5 rebounds... Went 28-for-68 from beyond the arc... Scored double-digit points in five games... In the season opener, had 15 points on 4-for-6 shooting with two assists and a steal... Against California Baptist in the West Region final, Cardwell went 3-for-4 from the field and drained two of his three treys... At Hawai'i Hilo, had 13 points and five rebounds.

2013-14 (sophomore): Played in all 27 games as a reserve, tallying 5.8 points per game and 1.6 rebounds... Went 26-for-78 from three-point territory... His 157 points off the bench was a team high.

2012-13 (freshman): Appeared in 13 games as a redshirt freshman, scoring 17 points on seven-of-21 shooting from the field ... Scored a season-high seven points with an assist against Fresno Pacific, hitting all three of his two-point attempts that game.

2011-12 (redshirt): Practiced with the team and attended classes while redshirting his freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Curtis Haggins at Mid-Peninsula High School in Menlo Park, Calif., where he was a three-sport athlete who also played baseball and soccer ... Named Private Schools Athletic League MVP his senior year, averaging 24.7 points in the regular season before leading Mid-Peninsula to the CIF Central Coast Section Finals for the first time in school history ... Scored 34 points in the CCS semifinals and poured in 35 points in a 71-66 defeat to Pinewood (Los Altos Hills) in the CCS Division V title game ... Averaged 30 points as a junior and scored 16 per game as a sophomore, posting a three-year scoring average of 23 points ... Scored a career-high 50 points against East Palo Alto Academy during his junior year.
