THIS YEAR: Senior Jackie Winfield enters her second season at Azusa Pacific after establishing herself as one of the Cougars’ top offensive options last season … Expected to build on that success and have a major impact in the Cougar offense.

2025 (Junior): Appeared in of the Cougars’ 25 matches as a 2025 junior, starting 12 and playing in 87 sets … Finished with 300 kills, 81 digs, 21 total blocks, 8 service aces and 4 assists … Recorded double-digit kills 9 times, including a career-high 20 in a 5-set win over Cal State Monterey Bay … Added 18 kills against Cal State Dominguez Hills and had 15 in wins over Texas Woman’s and Biola, as well as against Jessup.

SONOMA STATE: Spent 3 years at Sonoma State, playing 2 for Head Coach Bear Grassl before the athletics program was dropped in 2025 … As a 2024 junior, recorded 224 points, 194 kills in 76 sets and 60 digs … Led SeaWolves in 2.55 kills per set … Recognized as All-CCAA Honorable Mention in 2024 … As a 2023 redshirt freshman, played in 10 matches for the SeaWolves … Recorded 60 kills with 65 points … Recorded a season high 12 kills in a 3-2 win vs. Hawaii Pacific … Redshirtted the 2022 campaign, her first year of college competition.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Martin Luther King HS in Riverside, California … Was a 4-year varsity volleyball player under head coach Corey Kleven … Named team Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 … Selected for All-CIF second team in 2021 when MLK High reached the second round of the CIF playoffs … Did not play in 2020 due to COVID-19 … Received All-District first team in 2019 at Whitfield School in St. Louis, Mo. … Played club volleyball for T-Street. 

PERSONAL: Birthday is July 8 … Currently pursuing her graduate degree in Organizational Psychology … Her brother Jaden played basketball at Cal Poly Pomona … Lived in St. Louis, Missouri, for 16 years before moving to Riverside.
