2026 (Junior): Orozco joins the Cougars as a highly productive transfer from Cerritos College, where he established himself as an elite on-base threat and a reliable defensive presence in the outfield.

Prior to APU (Cerritos College) Spent two seasons as a standout for the Falcons, helping lead the team to a deep postseason run in 2024.

• 2025 (Sophomore): Appeared in 42 games, batting .254 with 31 hits and 24 RBIs. He led the South Coast Conference with a remarkable 52 walks, fueling a team-high .492 on-base percentage. He was perfect defensively, recording a 1.000 fielding percentage with 57 putouts.

• 2024 (Freshman): Played in 36 games, batting .243 with 12 RBIs and 23 walks.

• Clutch Performer: Delivered one of the biggest hits in Cerritos history on May 9, 2024, slapping a bases-loaded walk-off single in the 11th inning to defeat Riverside City College in the Southern California Super Regionals.

High School A three-year varsity player at state power Long Beach Wilson High School.

• Senior Season: Named 1st Team All-Moore League and team MVP after batting .360.

• Junior Season: Earned 2nd Team All-Moore League and was voted the team's Defensive Player of the Year after batting .293.

• Prep Highlights: Once went 4-for-4 with two doubles and recorded a walk-off hit during his Bruins career.

Fun Fact: Was the statistical leader in the entire South Coast Conference for walks (52) during the 2025 season, nearly reaching base in half of his total plate appearances.
