2025 (Junior | Azusa Pacific): Continued his development within the program after transferring, focusing on physical strength and adjusting to the speed of collegiate pitching.

Prior to APU (UC Riverside):

• 2024 (Sophomore): Appeared in the Highlanders' rotation and bullpen, continuing his development against top-tier Division I competition.

• 2023 (Freshman): Made 14 appearances as a true freshman, totaling 17.2 innings pitched. He recorded a season-high three strikeouts in a relief outing against Long Beach State (March 26).

High School A highly decorated arm from Serrano High School in Phelan, Calif., where he played three years of varsity for Coach John Grijalva.

• Prep Accolades: Led the Diamondbacks to a Mojave River League (MRL) Championship. He was a two-time All-League First Team selection and was named the All-Area Starting Pitcher for the High Desert region.

• Scouting Profile: Recognized by Perfect Game as a top right-handed pitching prospect in California (Class of 2022).

Personal Born Feb. 11, 2004... Son of Vince O'Neill... Majoring in Business Entrepreneurship... Chose Azusa Pacific for its strong program and family ties... David is the fifth member of his family to attend APU and is one of nine siblings... He has an identical twin brother... Outside of baseball, he enjoys listening to vinyl records, reading, watching movies, and following the Boston Red Sox.

Fun Fact: David and his brother Danny (catcher) form a rare "twin battery" on the Cougars' roster, bringing a unique chemistry to the field.
