THIS YEAR: Sophomore Colton Gray is one of 7 returnees to the Cougars … Expected to vie for a starting berth and have a significant impact over the course of the season.
2026 (freshman): Appeared in 18 games as a 2026 freshman, coming off the bench each time … Averaged 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 11 minutes a game … Best outing came in a narrow setback at home to Westmont when he tallied a season-best 10 points in 23 minutes, converting 4-of-6 shots, which included a pair of 3-pointers … Grabbed a season-high 7 rebounds to go along with 8 points in a 79-76 Cougar win at Hawaii-Hilo.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played 3 seasons of varsity basketball for Cougar alum Gordon Hamlow at Glendora (Calif.) High … Was a 3-time All-CIF Southern Section, honoree, earning first team recognition as a 2025 senior and second-team honors as a junior and sophomore … Named Palomares Leage MVP as a senior, leading the Tartans to a 26-4 record, including a perfect 10-0 slate in Palomares play when he was named the conference player of the year … Guided Glendora to a 68-20 record over 3 seasons, which included 2 league titles ... As a 2025 senior, named MVP of the Gary Prestesater (San Dimas) Tournament after scoring 101 points in 3 Tartan victories, tallying 42 rebounds and 12 steals ... Best showing was 32-point, 13-rebound effort in a 77-39 victory over Capistrano Valley Christian in the tournament championship game ... A week later, named Glendora Tournament MVP after leading the Tartans to a 67-56 victory over Bishop Amat High with 32 points and 10 rebounds ... Closed his career seventh on Glendora's all-time scoring chart with 1,509 points and second only to former NBA-veteran Tracy Murray on the Tartan all-time rebound list withy 781 career rebounds ... Was a 3-time All-Palomares first team pick ... Also competed 2 seasons in track & field, winning all-league distinction in the high jump (personal best 6' 3") as both a junior and senior ... Competed in the discus, shot and 400m as well.
