2022: Earned Academic All-PacWest distinction... Appeared in six games for the Cougars as a true freshman… Threw seven innings, striking out five with an overall ERA of 3.86 and WHIP of .86. 

High School: Graduated from Monrovia High School in Monrovia, Calif. in 2021... Played four varsity baseball seasons under head coach Brad Blackmore... Was named a team captain his sophomore, junior, and senior years... As a freshman, Powers was named Second Team All-Conference and an SGV Underclassmen All-Star after his team won their conference... In his sophomore season, Powers was named to the First Team All-Conference and was once again an SGV Underclassmen All-Star after recording an ERA of 2.05 in 41 innings... After his junior season was cut short, Powers led his team to a 21-4 record his senior year... He recorded a 6-1 record and an ERA of 1.40 in 50 innings and also produced offensively hitting .379 with 12 RBI and four doubles... Was named First Team All-CIF, All-Area, and All-Conference that season.

Personal: Born on May 22, 2003 in Portland, Maine... Son of Heather and Scott... Has one younger brother, Sutton... Studying Business Management... Enjoys playing golf and going surfing.
