THIS YEAR:  Redshirt freshman Brody Bluhm is ready to take to the field after sitting out his first season in the Cougar program ... Expected to push for playing opportunities in the Cougar outfield, most likely in centerfield to take the most advantage of his speed ... His left-handed bat will likely give him some added opportunities at the plate.

2024:   Redshirtted his first season at Azusa Pacific, practicing with the team but not appearing in any contests during the campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:  Played 3 years of varsity baseball for Head Coach Bill Hummel at Meadowdale High in Lynwood, Wash., where he was an outfielder and pitcher ... Was a 2-time All-Wesco Conference first team selection ... As a 2023 senior, led the Mavericks to an 11-11 record following a 13-10 campaign as a 2022 junior ... Played 7 years of travel ball with FCA, playing for Head Coach Darren Littlefield.

PERSONAL:  Born Aug. 10, 2005, in Edmonds, Wash. ... Parents are Chris and Tara Bluhm ... Has a younger sister (Skylar) ... Majoring in Engineering ... Enjoys cars and would like own a mechanics shop someday.
