2011 (junior): Appeared in 52 games, starting 44 times ... Finished third on the team with a .322 batting average (56-for-174) ... Was second on the team with 27 RBIs and led the Cougars with five triples ... Hit three home runs and had seven multi-RBI games ... Strung together a 10-game hitting streak from April 2-16 ... Had 15 multi-hit games ... Had three hits and drove in four RBI n Azusa Pacific's upset win over No. 3 California Baptist in the GSAC tournament ... Also pitched 10.1 innings for the Cougars, registering a 12.19 ERA.

OREGON STATE (freshman & sophomore): Was a 27th round pick of the Oakland Athletics out of high school in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft, but opted to play NCAA Div. I baseball instead with Pacific-10 Conference power Oregon State University ... Spent 2 seasons with the Beavers, appearing in 31 games in back-to-back winning campaigns ... As a 2010 sophomore, played in 22 games and started 5 times in a 32-24 campaign, batting .227 (5-for-22) with 4 runs ... Went 2-for-4 in his first collegiate start, playing right field in a non-conference visit to Hawaii ...
