Biography

2022: Named a Second Team All-Region selection by the D2CCA, a Second Team All-PacWest starting pitcher and tabbed PacWest Pitcher of the Week honors (3/14)...Appeared in 17 games with 15 starts in his final season as a Cougar… Recorded a 9-2 record over a team-high 94 innings pitched… Struck out 83 with an ERA of 4.02 and WHIP of 1.34, throwing one complete game on the season…Ranked top ten in the PacWest in wins (2nd), innings pitched (5th), batters striking out looking (6th), strikeouts (8th), and ERA (9th)... Pitched seven innings, with seven strikeouts and no earned runs in a victory over Cal State Monterey Bay (2/17)... In a winner-take-all game against Monterey Bay, he came in on relief and threw 1.1 innings, striking out two to help send the Cougars to the Super Regional against Point Loma. 

2021 (Junior): ABCA All-American third team and D2CCA & NCBWA All-American honorable mention... ABCA, D2CCA & NCBWA All-West Region Pitcher of the Year, and first team selection... All-PacWest Pitcher of the Year and first team selection...appeared in 12 games, starting 11...finished with a record of 8-1...struck out 69 batters in 70.2 innings with a 2.04 ERA...tossed eight shutout innings with 10 strikeouts in win at Fresno Pacific (March 11)...in only non-starting appearance, struck out two in a shutout inning to earn a save at Biola...did not allow more than three earned runs in any appearance.

2020 (COVID-shortened season): Started five times on the hill for the Cougars... Recorded a 4.13 ERA and a 1-3 overall record... Tossed 24.0 innings and struck out a team-high 29 batters... Woodall allowed 11 earned runs, walked eight and opponents hit .234 against him... In a 2-1 win over Chico State (January 31), Woodall tossed five innings, allowed one earned run and struck out nine in the win.

2019 (Sophomore): Was named to the All-West Region Second Team (ABCA) and All-PacWest Second Team… led the team in innings pitched (92.2 inn.) and wins (8)... appeared in 15 games, starting 14 of them… posted a 3.30 ERA with 61 strikeouts, allowing only 34 earned runs… walked 20 batters while opponents hit .266 against him… In a 6-1 win against Academy of Art (April 18) threw a complete game with four strikeouts giving up five hits and one earned run… Against Holy Names (February 22) threw eight innings with no earned runs and three strikeouts to help lead the Cougars to a 12-2 win… Had six games with seven or more innings thrown... Had nine quality starts on the season… Finished with two complete games.

2018 (Redshirt): After transferring from UCSB, Woodall did not play during the 2018 season due to injury.
 
University of California Santa Barbara (2017): Appeared in 15 games all coming out of the bullpen which was the most relief appearances on the team... Pitched 11.1 innings with seven strikeouts and a 3.47 ERA... Went without allowing a run over his first six outings.

High School: Graduated from Bonita High School in La Verne, Calif... Played three varsity seasons for coach John Knott... In his junior season had an overall record of 7-4, pitched 76 total innings with a 2.58 ERA... In his senior season was 9-1 in 76.2 innings with a 1.64 ERA.

Personal: Born June 28, 1998 in Anaheim, Calif... Son of Wendy... Has one brother Noah... Studying Criminal Justice... Hopes to continue his baseball career after his time at APU... Enjoys riding dirt bikes, trucks, hunting, fishing and snowboarding.
