2021 (COVID-abbreviated season): Served as a base for acro, pyramid, and toss events...Helped achieve scores of 9.80 or higher routinely in compulsory pyramid and toss, and helped team record four scores of 9.90 or better on 5-element acro.
2018: Competed in all eight meets… Helped score a season-best 9.55 in the compulsory tumbling event against Hawai’i Pacific (2/6)... Was a member of the compulsory toss team who scored a season-high 9.95 on two occasions, against Quinnipiac (3/13) and Baylor (3/24)... Participated in the synchronized pyramid event, was a member of a team that scored a 9.90 against Baylor (3/24) and Converse (4/5)... In the 450 salto toss, Gonzalez was a part of a team that scored a season-best 9.80 against Converse… Against Baylor (3/24), she helped deliver a 9.75 scoring in the synchronized toss… In tumbling, Gonzalez and her teammates had a score of 9.350 in the trio event, against Hawai’i Pacific (2/6).
High School: Attended Pleasant Grove High School… Was a gymnast for 12 years, including high school… Qualified for regionals as a freshman, sophomore, and junior… Reached the Western Championships as a level 9 gymnast in her junior year.
Personal: Born September 12, 1999 in Manila Philippines… Daughter of Bobby and Kay… Has two brothers and one sister… Older sister, Hannah, graduated from Azusa Pacific in 2016… Older brother, Martin, played soccer for Dominican University, where he graduated in 2017… Studying Kinesiology.
