* Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts university with an undergraduate student body enrollment of approximately 5,000 students.
* The university is located in Azusa, California, in the Los Angeles area, about 20 miles east of Pasadena against the San Gabriel Mountains.     Â
* Azusa Pacific is the highest placed track & field program in NAIA history, capturing 30 national titles— 23 men's championships (15 outdoor, 8 indoor) and 7 women's   championships (4 outdoor, 3 indoor)—all since 1983.      Â
* Azusa Pacific has produced over 100 national champions and over 200 All-Americans.
* Among Azusa Pacific track & field alumni are 14 Olympians, including 2008 gold medalist Bryan Clay (2004 silver) and silver medalist Fatimat Yusuf (1996 4x400 relay).
* Azusa Pacific is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Pacific West Conference.
* The Azusa Pacific women's track & field team won the 2021 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship, which is the first national title for Azusa Pacific in the NCAA era.
