THIS YEAR:  Sophomore Miah Moore is a sprinter who gives the Cougars good depth, particularly in the relays … Focusing on the longer sprints, the 400- and 800-meters … Looking to play a scoring role in the PacWest meet.

2020 (sophomore):  Appeared in just one meet during the 2020 COVID-shortened season … At the Beach Opener at Long Beach State, registered a 2:27.31  in her first 800 meters in two years … Anchored a 4x400-meter relay that clocked a 4:02.50 at the same meet.

2019 (freshman):  Appeared in 8 meets during her 2019 rookie season, recording personal bests of 26.93 in the 200 meters at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, and 59.86 in the 400 meters at the PacWest Championships, hosted by Azusa Pacific … Ran the third leg on the Cougars’ 4x100-meter relay that finished second at the PacWest Championships with a season-best 46.76, the third fastest time in program history.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Ran 4 seasons of track & field for Head Coach Mark Taylor at Cosumnes Oaks High in Elk Grove, Calif. … As a 2018 senior, posted personal records of 13.18 in the 100 meters, 26.95 in the 200, and 59.38 in the 400 … As a 2015 freshman recorded a personal best of 2:27.22 in the 800 … Finished sixth in the 400 (59.40) at the 2018 CIF Sac Joaquin Section Finals … Was fourth (1:02.09) in the same event at the Capitol Valley Conference (CVC) championship meet … Ran the third leg and teamed with Deborah Cornish (now of San Jose State) to lead Cosumnes Oaks to the CVC title (4:05.26) and CIF runner-up (4:00.65) in the 4x400-meter relays … Ran the opening leg on the 4x100-meter relay that finished second (50.47) at the CVC championships … As a 2017 junior, anchored the Wolfpack to the CVC (4:03.21) and CIF section (3:59.47) championships in the 4x400 … As a 2016 junior, anchored the Cosumnes Oaks to the CVC 4x400 crown (4:21.32) … Served as team captain for 2 years … Also competed in cheer.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 21, 2000, in Stockton, Calif. … Her mother, LaTonya Moore, ran track at Cal State Bakersfield … Has an older sister (Kayla) … Majoring in kinesiology … Would like to go into a health profession after graduation.
