THIS YEAR:  Another in a long line of physically tough Cougar guards, senior Kristy Urbick is a hard-nosed backcourt player who gives Azusa Pacific quality depth ... Smart about the game ... Thrives in an up-tempo game. 

2006:  Slowed by a knee injury at the outset of her first season at Azusa Pacific, missing the first 2 months of play ... Eventually appeared in 19 games, averaging 1.5 points in nearly 6 minutes an outing ... Scored a season-high 6 points in back-to-back games vs. San Diego Christian and Fresno Pacific. 

SAN JOAQUIN DELTA CC:  Played 2 seasons at San Joaquin Delta Community College under head coach Gina Johnson … Led the Mustangs to back-to-back Bay Valley Conference championships … As a sophomore averaged 10 points and 3.8 rebounds … Was named to the Delta Classic all-tournament team … During her freshman campaign earned the coaches’ award after averaging 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game … Was the most valuable player of the Delta Classic. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played varsity basketball for 3 seasons at Beyer High in Modesto, Calif. … As a senior was named team’s most valuable player … Earned first team all Modesto-Metro Conference honors after final campaign … During first varsity season was an all-district pick after averaging 14.5 points, 3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game. 

PERSONAL:  Born March 6, 1985, in Stockton, Calif. … Is the daughter of John and Phyllis Willingham … Has 3 brothers (Jacob, Josh, Justin) and 1 sister (Rachel) … Majoring in Exercise & Sport Science with a minor in coaching … Wants to go into coaching at the junior college or university level.
