Biography
THIS YEAR: A little bit of a “do-everything” athlete, Nikohl Jordan is 1 of 13 freshmen to join the Cougars this year … Returns to track & field after a year off and will need to work off the rest … Will focus more on the heptathlon after excelling in the throws in high school.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed 2 seasons in track & field and cross country for head coach Joann Davison at Turlock (Calif.) High … As a 2017 senior, qualified for the CIF Sac Joaquin Masters, finishing eighth in the discus with a throw of 115’ 6” … At the Central California Conference, finished third in the 200 (27.14), fourth in the discus (113’ 6”) and sixth in the shot (31’ 7½”) … Ran in 9 cross country meets during her 2 years.
PERSONAL: Born May 3, 1999, in Clovis, Calif., to Daryl and Lisa Jordan … Has 2 brothers (Zack, Sawyer) and a sister (Jessica) … Majoring in allied health … Would like to be a physician’s assistant and coach track & field … Attended Cal State Stanislaus before transferring to Azusa Pacific.
