2018 (junior): Appeared in 37 games, started 22 games, 20 at second base and two at first base… posted a .351 batting average with six home runs and 21 RBI… Lead the team in average with runners in scoring position with a .636 batting average (14 for 22)... Was fifth on the team in OPS with a 1.053 OPS… In a 17-3 win over Chico State in the NCAA Regional (May 18), went 3-for-5 with a home run and a pair of runs scored and a pair of RBI… In the 8-7 NCAA Regional Final loss to UC San Diego (May 21), Quire Jr. went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run and a pair of base hits

2017 (junior): Appeared in seven games as a reserve for the Cougars … In a 15-4 win against Cal State San Bernardino (February 8), appeared as a reserve and collected a hit and scored a run to aid in the Cougars effort against the Coyotes 

PASADENA CITY COLLEGE: Played two years for the Lancers ... During his second season with the team named first-team all-league after hitting .356 in 31 games ... Drove in 23 runs and scored 20 times ... Recorded 42 hits; 14 of which went for extra bases

HIGH SCHOOL: Played teo years of varsity baseball... during his high school athletic career he won CIF division three once... was named first team All-league twice and named first team all CIF at shortstop his senior year.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 19, 1995 father Joseph Guire Senior is a police officer ... Has one older sister ... Majored in criminal justice, graduating in 2018, and is now pursuing master's in management... Enjoys snowboarding, shooting and wake surfing.
