Biography
2017-18 (junior): Started all 32 games for the Cougars… led team in scoring (14.6 points per game)... made most 3-point field goals on the team (73)... had team-high 40 steals… team leader in free-throws made with 126 (84% free-throw percentage)... scored a career-high 33 points against Holy Names… went 7-for-7 from three-point line in a win over Notre Dame de Namur… Had five steals in a win at Concordia… Named All-PacWest second-team.
2016-17 (San Diego City College): Played one season for coach Mitch Charlens… led team to CCCAA (California Junior College) State Championship with a 31-5 record… averaged 12.3 ppg, shooting 45% from the field, including 41.1% from the three-point line… named Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year… named state tournament MVP, averaging 21 points per game through the tournament… recognized as an All-State performer… Athlete of the Year for SDCC.
2015-16 (University of Tampa): Walked-on at the University of Tampa… played for coach Richard Schmidt.
High School: Played basketball and soccer at O’Fallon Township High School… earned three varsity letters in both sports… played basketball for coach Rick Gibson… was named team captain for junior and senior year… hit game-winning shot in regional championship game as a sophomore, eliminating the #4 team in the state… started as a junior, named second team all-league… named second team all-league as a senior.
Personal: Son of Diane Brown and Jack McClain… has one younger brother, Jaden… majoring in business management… enjoys playing soccer.
