                        THIS YEAR:  One of the Cougars’ hardest workers, senior Megan Cardin will play in the defense this season … Is left-footed and will play left back … Has logged a ton of quality minutes over the past 3 years making her one of the most experienced members of the team … Will once again take the Cougars’ corner kicks … Distributes the ball and reads the game well … Has a good work rate. 
2004:  Started all 18 of the Cougars’ games … Was 1 of 5 Cougars named to the All-GSAC team … Recorded 8 points with 1 goal and 6 assists … Tallied 7 of her 8 points in conference play … Had an outstanding game in a 3-0 win over Fresno Pacific (Sept. 29) scoring 1 goal and assisting on 2 others … Had a pair of assists in a 4-0 win over Point Loma Nazarene (Oct. 30) … Added assists in wins over The Master’s and Grand Canyon (Ariz.).
2003:  Started 19 of 20 games in the midfield … Missed the first game of her career in the Cougars’ 1-0 win over Long Beach State … Tallied 8 points on 2 goals and 4 assists … Scored a goal and had an assist in the Cougars’ GSAC win at Fresno Pacific … Added assists in wins over The Master’s and California Baptist … Scored her second goal of the season in the 88th minute of a 2-1 win at Vanguard … Added an assist in the Cougars’ season-ending loss to William Jewell (Mo.) in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Tournament. 
2002:  Started all 20 games in midfield as a true freshman … Scored 3 goals and registered 4 assists for 10 points, which was good for seventh on the team … Tallied her first collegiate point with an assist in the Cougars’ 6-1 win over Fresno Pacific (Oct. 24) … Scored her first collegiate goal and finished the game with 2 goals and an assist just 5 days later in a 7-0 win over The Master’s (Oct. 29) … Tallied an assist in a 3-0 win over Embry-Riddle (Fla.) in the opening round of the NAIA Tournament … Scored a goal against Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) in the 3-0 second-round win. 
HIGH SCHOOL:  Prepped 3 varsity seasons at St. Lucy’s Priory High for former Cougar assistant Greg Baker along with Erin Arbizu … Led the Regents to a combined 54-13-11 3-year mark and 3 straight CIF playoff appearances, including a trip to the finals as a 2001 junior … Was a 2-time All-Sierra League first team selection … Named All-CIF second team as a 2002 senior when she led St. Lucy’s to the CIF quarterfinals … Also ran track and cross country.
