THIS YEAR: After transferring from NCAA Division I Loyola Marymount last year, Josh Moreno became a solid contributor in the Cougar defense ... Is a speedy and can keep pace with anybody ... Has a good understanding of the game ... Is a tenacious defender and a great passer.

2001: Appeared in all 19 games in his first season at Azusa Pacific ... Made 14 starts, including the final 13 games ... Did not register a point, spending nearly all his time as a marking back ... Made an occasional run forward into the attack.
