THIS YEAR:  Is a solid player with good speed and serves a good ball from the outside … Is effective on throw-ins with an ability to toss the ball from the sideline to the middle of the field. 

2005: Made 8 starts while appearing in 20 games … Scored twice and added an assist in recording 5 points … Scored goals in victories over Judson (Ill.) and Warner Pacific (Ore.) … Tallied his assist in the opener of the Region II playoffs against Menlo in a 7-0 win … Took 9 shots.

2004:  Appeared in 20 games, notching 4 starts … Scored his lone goal of the season in a win over Pacific Lutheran … Took 6 shots.

2003:  Appeared in 17 games, starting 15 of them in the midfield as a true freshman … Scored a goal and had 3 assists for 5 points … Tied a school record with 3 assists in the Cougars’ season-opening win over Warner Pacific (Ore.) … Scored his lone goal in the Cougars’ win over Christian Heritage … Took 8 shots. 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Played 4 varsity seasons at Valley Christian High in San Jose, Calif. … Named West Catholic League MVP and All-Central Coast Section first team as a 2003 senior after leading the Warriors to the Central Coast Section semifinals … As a 2002 junior, scored 7 goals in just 4 games before missing the rest of the campaign with a broken neck … Named All-Bay Valley Athletic League second team as a 2000 sophomore after leading the Warriors to a league title.

PERSONAL: Son of Don and Robyn Dequine … Has 4 brothers (Rob, Scott, Jon and Danny) and 1 sister (Brandi) … Majoring in psychology with a minor in theology … Would like to be a family counselor … Last name is pronounce duh-KEEN … Likes to wakeboard.
