THIS YEAR: One of the top returning scorers in the GSAC, senior forward Jordan Jones is the Cougars’ main scoring threat ... Should team with newcomer John Kightlinger to form on the most potent 1-2 scoring punches in the conference … Currently ranks 15th on Azusa Pacific’s career scoring chart with 48 points … Is just 20 points away from moving into the top 10 … Could make a push for conference-leading goal-scoring honors … Strikes the ball extremely hard and is very difficult to defend … At 6-2 plays well in the air ... Effective with both feet.

2001: One of 6 Cougars named All-GSAC … Ranked second on the team and eighth in the GSAC is scoring with 23 points (10 goals, 3 assists) … Tied GSAC Player of the Year Matt Evans for the team lead with 10 goals … Scored 5 game-winning goals … Netted a pair of goals twice (Sept. 8 vs. CS Monterey and Oct. 10 vs. Hope International) … Put together a stretch from Sept. 8-Oct. 27 where he registered at least 1 point in 10 of 12 games.

2000: Was fourth on the team in goals (7) and points (17) for the GSAC champion Cougars ... Scored goals in 3 consecutive GSAC wins, including the game-winner of a 1-0 victory over Point Loma Nazarene ... Scored a goal in a 4-1 win over Point Loma Nazarene in the NAIA Region II Semifinals ... Assisted on a goal in the season-opening 2-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona.

1999: Tallied 3 goals and 2 assists in his freshman campaign ... Started the final 11 games of the season ... Collected all 3 of his goals during a 4-game GSAC winning streak ... Scored the tying goal that helped send the Cougars to a 2-1 overtime victory over Point Loma Nazarene ... Assisted the first goal in a 3-0 win over CS Hayward in the NAIA Region II Playoffs.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played 4 years of varsity soccer at Clovis (Calif.) High where he was a 3-time All-Tri-River Athletic Conference pick ... Scored 19 goals and assisted on 20 others during his prep career ... Led the Cougars to a 32-12-7 record over his final 2 seasons ... Named team MVP as a 1999 senior.
