THIS YEAR: One of the most experienced Cougars, senior Jennifer Robison returns to her post at first base for the fourth straight season ... Looking for a breakout campaign that will allow her to push for All-GSAC recognition ... An excellent defensive player ... Has good bat control and should hit third in the lineup ... Is sixth on the Cougars' all-time doubles chart (25) and needs 15 to break the school record ? Has appeared in 151 games and should become only the third Cougar ever to play in 200 games.

2001: Started all 57 games at first base, batting a career-high .294 ... Was second on the team in doubles (9) and sacrifice hits (8) ... Hit safely in 31 games, which included 13 multi-hit contests (Cougars were 11-2 when Robison got 2 or more hits in a game) ... In back-to-back doubleheader sweeps of Claremont-Scripps and U. of San Diego, went 8-for-15 (.533) with 5 runs, 3 RBIs and a pair of doubles ... Was 2-for-4 with 4 RBIs in a victory over nationally-ranked Vanguard.

2000: Spent over a month of her promising sophomore campaign sidelined with a broken hand ... Celebrated her return to the lineup with a game-winning hit in a 5-4 victory over Vanguard ... Posted an 8-game hitting streak during the Cougars' postseason run ... Went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs in a 4-0 victory over Concordia ... Batted 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and 2 runs in a 7-0 victory over Walsh (Ohio) at the NAIA Championship Tournament ... Had 7 multiple-hit games.

1999: Started 49 games as a freshman, posting a fine .270 batting average ... Put together a 13-game hitting streak to finish the regular season ... Had 11 multiple-hit games ... Was the only freshman to be named GSAC Player of the Week in 1999 after leading the Cougars to a second-place finish in the UC San Diego tournament by going 6-for-17 at the plate with 5 runs, 1 double, 1 HR, 2 RBIs and 2 stolen bases ... Provided solid defense at first base, committing just 4 errors for a team-best .990 fielding percentage ... Enjoyed her most productive game when she led the Cougars to a 14-5 victory over La Verne, going 3-for-3 with 2 home runs, 1 double, 3 runs, and 5 RBIs ... Went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple in a 5-4 GSAC victory over Concordia.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at national power Foothill High in Pleasanton, Calif. ... Lettered 4 years on the varsity level ... As a 1998 senior, led the Falcons to a perfect 27-0 record which included the Tri-County Athletic League championship ... Batted .270 as a 1998 senior for the nationally-ranked Falcons, leading the team with 17 RBIs and 22 runs ... Foothill was 53-1 over Robison's final 2 seasons ... Also lettered 2 seasons in basketball ... Played for Coach Scott Kabrich in both sports.

PERSONAL: Born May 25, 1980, in San Leandro, Calif., to Jim (firefighter) and Debbie (nurse) Robison ... Has a younger sister (Lindsey) ... Her uncle, Jay Fike, pitched at San Jose State and is a member of the Spartan Hall of Fame ... Has made 3 mission trips to Mexico ... Majoring in applied health ... Likes to ride horses.
