Azusa Pacific tennis delivered a clean sweep on Monday afternoon, as No. 15 APU women's tennis and No. 9 APU men's tennis each earned 7–0 road victories over Westmont, showcasing depth and control across every court.

Women's Tennis: No. 15 APU 7, Westmont 0

The No. 15 Cougars women continued their unbeaten start with a wire-to-wire performance, sweeping both doubles and singles at Westmont.

APU secured the doubles point with decisive wins at the top and bottom of the lineup. Stina Larsson and Karola Suviste cruised to a 6–1 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Melis Mert and Mariana Reveles Arreola blanked their opponents 6–0 at No. 3. The Cougars were also leading at No. 2 before the match went unfinished.

Singles play was all Azusa Pacific. Larsson set the tone at No. 1 with a straight-sets win, followed by commanding victories from Suviste (No. 2), Shannele Lopez (No. 3), and Kimberly Tran (No. 4). Mert and Reveles Arreola completed the sweep at Nos. 5 and 6 as the Cougars dropped just eight total games across six singles courts.

With the shutout, they improved to 4–0, while Westmont moved to 2–1.

Men's Tennis: No. 9 APU 7, Westmont 0

Later in the afternoon, the No. 9 APU men matched the women's dominance, rolling past Westmont with a complete 7–0 performance on the road.

After splitting early in doubles, it claimed the doubles point behind wins at Nos. 2 and 3. From there, the Cougars were untouchable in singles.

At the top, Soeren Grandke earned a convincing straight-sets victory at No. 1, while David James Brownlee and Mathys Pinoit followed with composed wins at Nos. 2 and 3. Viktor Craenenbroeck added a tight three-set win at No. 4, and Joan Crespo closed out his match quickly at No. 5. The final point came at No. 6, where APU prevailed in a match tiebreak to complete the sweep.

The shutout pushed Azusa Pacific to 3–0 on the season and capped a statement road performance by both programs.

With the twin sweeps, Azusa Pacific tennis continues to build momentum early in the spring, sending a clear message as both squads prepare for the next stretch of nonconference play.
