HONOLULU, Hawai'i - Azusa Pacific Women's Basketball completed their Hawaii road trip with a 91-30 victory, marking their largest margin of victory on the season. This win secures a berth into the PacWest championships, and the Cougars remain undefeated in conference and carry an overall record of 18-1 on the season.

Paige Uyehara was the leading scorer for the Cougars with 21 points, while draining five from beyond-the-arc and dishing out seven assists. Molly Whitmore collected 19 points with nine rebounds, and Kayla Shaw had 15 points of her own, with three shots from deep.

How it Happened: In the first quarter, the Cougars took a 12-2 lead in the first five minutes and continued their dominance with a made three pointer by Uyehara to go up 15-4. This lead would grow as Kelly Heimburger had a good layup followed by a made free throw for Azusa Pacific to take a 14 point lead. The lead would hold as Heimburger completed another free throw to end the first quarter with a 22-10 lead.

A layup by Whitmore, good jumper by Kyra Zovak and a three pointer by Shaw opened the scoring for the Cougars in the second quarter as their lead grew to 29-10. With a few points by Whitmore and two good three pointers by Madelyn Roel and Cate Walton, Azusa Pacific was sitting pretty at 41-16. The lead would continue to stretch as Walton completed a free throw and Uyehara nailed a fastbreak three pointer to take a 29 point advantage. Whitmore put an exclamation mark on the second quarter by completing a layup and sending the Cougars into the second half with a 47-17 lead.

Chaminade opened the scoring in the third quarter with a good layup and free throw, but Azusa Pacific responded with a jumper by Uyehara, layup by Laura Pranger, and a layup and two points from the charity stripe to take a 35 point advantage. The Cougars went on a 13 point run before Chaminade tacked on two points via free throws. Yet, Uyehara found the net again with a layup to end the third quarter with a 79-24 advantage for the Cougars. Azusa Pacific held Chaminade to just seven points in the third quarter, while the Cougars shot a 72 FG% and 67 3PT%, holding the Silverswords to an 18 FG% and limiting them to zero three pointers over seven attempts.

There was not a lot of scoring done by both teams through the fourth quarter, but a layup by Whitmore and a three pointer by Alex Lowden widened the lead for Azusa Pacific. Chaminade collected six points via a three pointer, layup and free throw. But, the Cougars ended the game with a layup by Tylee Manuel and a three pointer 32 seconds left by Kayden Casey
