Post Game Interview with head coach Dave Blomquist
While each goal keeper made two difficult saves in the closely played contest, a shot that wasn't saved made the most noise. Callum Wallace ripped a shot from just outside the box late in the second overtime period that hit squarely on the right post before bouncing away.
Azusa Pacific took 16 shots with nine of the frame being on frame. The Seawolves fired seven shots, four of them making Azusa Pacific goal keeper Jorge Pesquera effort for a save.
The Cougars held a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
