Andrew Elffers led a group of 11 Cougars named to the All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference first team, earning Offensive Player of the Year honors while head coach
Victor Santa Cruz was named GNAC Coach of the Year for leading his program to its first-ever NCAA Division II playoff appearance. Redshirt freshman wide receiver
Weston Carr was also listed among the special award winners, collecting GNAC Freshman of the Year honors.

The Cougars' first team recipients included six offensive players, led by Elffers and Carr, and joined by running back
Kurt Scoby, tight end
Josiah Thropay, and offensive linemen
Sakalaia Hungalu and
Joe Kupcikevicius. The five defensive players who earned first team recognition were defensive end
Jason Schwartz, linebacker
Mykal Walker, and a defensive back trio consisting of
C.J. Broussard,
Tyree Davis, and
Taliuaki Suliafu. Davis also received another first team selection at kick returner, and he was the All-GNAC second team punt returner.

All-GNAC first team defense
Mykal Walker played in every game this season, compiling 95 tackles to rank second on the team; he had 9.5 tackles for loss and blocked one kick. Walker had two interceptions for 60 yards an average of 30 yards per interception scoring once.

C.J. Broussard started all 11 games of the season, recording 65 tackles (32 solo). Broussard led the GNAC in interceptions and passes defended, registering five interceptions along with six pass breakups, and he also forced a fumble.
Taliuaki Suliafu started in all 11 games of the season, finishing with 51 tackles (31 solo), as well as two interceptions which he returned for a total of 86 yards with one interception return touchdown. Suliafu, who also recovered two fumbles, including one fumble return for another touchdown, was the GNAC's only defensive back to rank in the conference's top-20 in sacks (5.5) and tackles for loss (9.0).

Jason Schwartz started all 11 games and finished the regular season tied for the GNAC lead in total sacks with 9.0. Schwartz had 44 tackles, including 11.0 tackles for loss, and he forced one fumble.

Tyree Davis is one of just two GNAC players to be selected to the All-GNAC team in three positions, earning first team recognition as a kick returner and defensive back while earning second team honors as a punt returner. Davis appeared in all 11 games, and his kick return average of 37.5 yards on 11 attempts (412 total yards) would lead all of Division II, although he does not have enough attempts to appear in the national stats leaders (minimum 1.2 attempts per game). He also two interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown, and he has eight pass breakups. Davis also averaged 11.0 yards per punt return, totaling 187 yards on 17 punt returns.
All-GNAC first team offense
Andrew Elffers was also named to the All-GNAC first team after starting every game for the GNAC's top scoring offense. He led the GNAC in completion percentage, completing 154-of-237 attempts for 2,011 yards. He threw 18 touchdown passes with only two interceptions, and he added 328 yards rushing with seven rushing touchdowns.
Josiah Thropay represents Azusa Pacific as the first team tight end and has seen action in all 11 games, finishing with 16 catches for 211 yards and four touchdowns.
In addition to freshman of the year honors,
Weston Carr was also named to the first team as a wide receiver. Carr led the team in catches (46) and receiving yards (835), averaging 18.2 yards per catch.

Offensive linemen
Sakalaia Hungalu (center) and
Joe Kupcikevicius (right tackle) provided protection up front for the GNAC's top scoring offense, which surrendered the second-fewest sacks in the league.

Kurt Scoby returns to the all-conference first team for the second consecutive season, finishing with 603 rushing yards on 99 attempts (6.1 yards per carry). Scoby scored six touchdowns, rushing for five scores with one receiving touchdown as he collected 15 receptions for 72 yards.
