MEET RESULTS
EUGENE, Ore. -- Azusa Pacific faced off against Oregon and Fairmont State in a tri meet Monday night with a second place finish after an impressive first half of 96.80 before falling to the Ducks by a score of 257.250 to Oregon's 273.570.
The Cougar's took over the pyramid section falling just short of their season average in this event posting their best collection of scores of the night. For the second consecutive week the cougars scored at least a perfect-10 in one of the heats, this time for flips portion. They finished heat two for twist scoring 9.85 and 9.70 in heat three for releases. But no. 1-ranked Oregon kept control over the meet winning every other event to move their season record to 5-1 on the year, while Fairmont State falls to 3-2 on the year.
Azusa Pacific is still ranked third in the nation as they move to 2-3 on the year looking now to their faceoff against Baylor on March 28th.
