Box Score HONOLULU, Hawaii – Azusa Pacific fought back from two deficits to post a thrilling 3-2 win at Chaminade on Thursday.

The Swords scored the day's first goal when Avinash Singh scored off a rebound. Tyler Jaramillo made the first save on Colton Gallt's shot but couldn't get to the follow-up chance in the 23rd minute.

Carlos Garcia-Partida tied the score at 1-1 in the 34th minute. The junior took a feed from Nate Nugen and dribbled down the right side before drilling a shot from 20 yards out to the far post. 

Chaminade made the tie short lived as he scored the final goal of first half. Trevor Freeman gave the home team a 2-1 lead just before intermission. Freeman headed a shot into the back of the net off a Gallt assist in the 42nd minute.

Both teams had opportunities to score the game's fourth goal during the early moments of the second half but the score remained 2-1 until the 64th minute. Kaleb Armbrust scored his first collegiate goal in just his third game. The freshman scored from 10 yards out a tough angled shot from the left side. Colton Lamb provided his first assist of the season on the play. 

Before the Cougars scored the winning goal, the home team was able to get off two shots but couldn't put one behind Jaramillo. Garcia-Partida headed home the game-winner in front of the goal off a nice feed from Armbrust in the 77th minute. It was his team leading fourth goal of the season as well as his third game winner in 2014. 

Nicolas Ferro nearly tied the score on the game's final shot in the 84th minute but his chance was block aside by the Cougars defense. 

Azusa Pacific has their fourth and final game of their Hawaii trip on Saturday when they take on BYU-Hawaii at 12:30 p.m. (HST).
