RIVERSIDE, CALIF. -- Senior All-American forward Jason Roufs scored two goals to lead No. 20 Azusa Pacific to a 3-0 GSAC victory over Cal Baptist today in Riverside.
Roufs, APU's all-time leading scorer, got his 11th goal of the season in the first half and added his 12th in the second period, to bring his team-leading point total to 27 on the season.
Freshman Matt Duntsch scored his second collegiate goal off Cal Baptist goalie Brad Miller later in the second half. Senior Will Cummins had assists on both of the Cougars' second half goals.
The victory is the third straight in GSAC play for APU, and keeps the Cougars one game back from Biola and second place in the GSAC Inland Division.
