Lindsey Gets Revenge

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Benjamin Djuekeng helped lead the defending national champion Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) to a 3-0 victory over No. 10-seed Azusa Pacific with 3 assists in the first game of pool play at the 38th Annual NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship being played at Legion Field.

Darrell Piper scored for Lindsey Wilson at the 9:53 mark.  Orlando Bueso tallied a goal at 29:32, and Jakob Fenger finished the scoring a victory-clinching tally at 81:01.

The victory avenges a 1-0 loss to Azusa Pacific back in early September in Southern California.

Azusa Pacific will face No. 6-seed William Carey (Miss.) at 1 p.m. Wednesday to continue pool play in the NAIA Tournament.
