The 2016-2017 school year will be Emily Harris second year serving as Azusa Pacific's Tennis Graduate Assistant.
Harris played for the Cougars for four seasons. During her career at Azusa Pacific, she played doubles and singles all four years and played number one doubles all four years, played number one singles junior and senior years. She was Azusa Pacific's women's tennis team captain her junior and senior years.
She was a National Christian College Athletic Association Women's Tennis Scholar Athlete in Spring of 2014. As a sophomore she was named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American. Between the PacWest and the Golden State Athletic Conference she earned six all conference honors.
Along with her athletic accolades Harris was the women's tennis representative on Azusa Pacific's Student Athlete Advisory Board all four years. She became Azusa Pacific's SAAB President senior year. She was the women's student-athlete representative on Azusa Pacific's Athletic Advisory Committee her junior and senior years.
Harris is graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Spring of 2014. She received the Outstanding Senior Award. Graduated from Azusa Pacific's Applied Exercise Science in the Spring of 2014.
She is expected to graduation this May from Azusa Pacific with a Masters Leadership with an Emphasis in Sport Management and Integrated Leadership.
