Azusa Pacific University Athletics

The 2018 season will be Sarah Orozco’s second season as assistant coach at Azusa Pacific. 

In her first year on staff Orozco helped the Cougars to their best conference finish since going the Golden Coast Conference in 2014 with a fifth place finish. 

Orozco played four years (2009-12) at University California Los Angeles, she was part of UCLAs NCAA Champion Women’s Water Polo (2008-2009) Season. Throughout her college career she tallied 84 goals, 23 assists and 38 steals.

In Orozco’s senior year at UCLA she scored a season-high three goals in two games (vs. Iona and vs. USC in the NCAA Tournament) and finished with eight goals in three NCAA Tournament matches.

She Represented the USA Youth National Water Polo Team in overseas tournaments (2005-2007)and represented the Mexican Senior National Water Polo Team in International Tournaments (2011-2014).
 
Before college, Orozco played four years at Montebello High School in Montebello, Calif,.
