The No. 4 seed UC San Diego Tritons knocked to a 4-0 victory against the No. 2 seeded Azusa Pacific Cougars.
With the win, UC San Diego will take on the winner of Azusa Pacific and the No. 6 seeded Cal Poly Pomona Broncos on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. For the Cougars, it is win or go home the remainder of the West Regional Championships.
The Tritons starting pitcher Adrian Orozco held a perfect game through six innings, and held a no-hitter into ninth with two outs left. He finished the complete game giving up just one hit, walking two, and striking out 11. Right fielder Jack Larsen scored two runs and reached base twice on a single and a walk for UC San Diego.
